Dominic Perrottet expected to EXTEND indoor mask mandate and other hated restrictions across NSW as Covid cases don't fall fast enough By Tita Smith For Daily Mail Australia Published: 21:39 GMT, 22 January 2022 | Updated: 21:47 GMT, 22 January 2022 Viewcomments Dominic Perrottet is expected to extend a raft of Covid restrictions including indoor mask mandates and rules in pubs and clubs. Restrictions on mask wearing, singing and dancing in hospitality venues, entertainment facilities and major recreation facilities, and business capacity limits of one person per square metre were due to be lifted on January 27. But as the state's Omicron outbreak continues to surge, with 20,148 new cases on Saturday, the measures are likely to stay. It is expected the NSW Premier will announce the extension during a press conference at Lidcombe Public School, in western Sydney, at 10am on Sunday. More to come.
