New footage has emerged of Nick Kyrgios' controversial doubles win over the no.1 ranked Croatian team, appearing to show the enigmatic Aussie mocking his rivals.

Kyrgios and best mate Thanasi Kokkinakis sensationally knocked out Australian Open no.1 seeded doubles pairing Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic on Friday night in front of a raucous Melbourne crowd.

Following the match, the tennis bad boy claimed on Twitter the Croatian team's crew threatened to fight the pair, apparently because Kyrgios hit them with a ball and taunted his opponents.

The Aussie pair said they had respected their opponents, who they simply deemed sore losers, but a new video shows Kyrgios swaying back and forth emulating the popular Nintendo video game WiiSports during their third round match.

An audience member captured the 26-year-old appearing to taunt the Croats by copying the interactive game.

Kyrgios can be seen bobbing from side to side, reminiscent of the floating characters in WiiSports.

He then can be seen glancing back at Kokkinakis after mocking the video game, before the match resumes.

It's believed his behaviour was the final straw for the Croatian team, with the two engaging with the umpire following Kyrgios' antics.

'This is p***ing me off… don't let that happen,' they were heard saying over the court's microphone.

Following their latest victory over Gonzalo Escobar and Ariel Behar on Sunday, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis were asked to comment on the altercation, with the aforementioned offering a final taunt to the departing Croatians.

'Enjoy your flight home,' Kyrgios said as the two burst into laughter.

Kokkinakis explained what happened during the incident, saying he and Kyrgios didn't mean any disrespect by their antics but had been approached by Pavić’s 'aggressive' trainer in the gym.

'It was pretty funny, I'm not going to lie,' he explained, saying he expected the pair to 'handle losing a little better'.
