A soldier was today ordered to pay a colleague £1,200 compensation after she broke her nose in a jealous, drink-fuelled rage.
Private Aimee Waters smashed Private Charlotte Milner's head into a wall and punched her in the face after she saw her posing for photos with a male soldier.
The pair were part of a group drinking together outside their barracks, when Pt Milner was seen taking pictures with the male soldier, sparking the violence.

Pt Waters 'stormed over' to the pair, spilling a drink over her colleague and 'snatching' a phone from them earlier that evening, Pt Milner told a court.
Pt Waters later 'attacked' Pt Milner, punching her in the face multiple times and breaking her nose in a 'jealous' fury.
Pt Waters denied one charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, claiming she acted in self-defence during the incident in June last year.
But she was convicted following a two day trial at Bulford Military Court, Wiltshire, and was today handed a suspended sentence.

The soldier also ordered to pay £1,200 in compensation to Pt Milner.
Group Captain Stephen Wetton, prosecuting, had told the trial that the incident erupted when members of one Medical Regiment were drinking on a Saturday evening outside their accommodation block in Tidworth Camp, Wiltshire.
