Free-speech champion Elon Musk sat front row at Dave Chappelle's show at the Hollywood Bowl last night, completely undeterred by the fact many wanted to see the comedian canceled over his trans jokes and opinions.
Fresh from the Met Gala in New York on Monday, Musk was pictured next to Diddy and other stars before an audience member ran on stage and tried to attack Chappelle.
Chappelle had been joking about having to beef up his security as a result of the hate he receives from some trans advocates when Isaiah Lee, 23, stormed the stage.
He was armed with a knife stashed inside a gun and made a bee-line for the comedian to tackle him.
Chappelle swerved the attack and was unharmed. Lee had his arm broken in the melee and is now in jail on charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon. His motive for the attack remains unclear.
