YouTuber and 'dating guru' Kevin Samuels has died aged 57 after suffering from 'chest pains', reports say.
Police were called to the Residence Buckhead Atlanta, an upscale apartment complex, after a 911 caller - later identified as Ortensia Alcantara, 32 - reported a 'person injured.'
When Atlanta Police Officer Joel Figuereo arrived at the residence, an EMS worker was observed 'performing CPR to a black male' who was 'unresponsive on the floor of his apartment.' Alcantara later identified the male to be Samuels.
Alcantara, a nurse, told police she met Samuels the night before and had 'spent night with him.'
Early in the morning, Samuels reportedly started experiencing chest pain and she 'attempted to help him... but he fell on top of her.'
She requested a defibrillator from the front desk to 'keep Mr. Samuels responsive until [EMS] arrived.' He was transferred to Piedmont Hospital, where he died.

The Atlanta Police Department said Ortensia Alcantara, 32, a nurse, called 911 and reported an 'injured person.' She had already reportedly requested a defibrillator from the front desk to keep him alive until EMS services arrived and transferred him to Piedmont Hospital
Samuels' mother, Beverly Samuels-Burch, told NBC News she discovered her son had died after seeing it on social media.
'That was a terrible thing for social media to put that out. I didn't even know,' she told NBC News on Friday.
'I hadn't even been notified. All I'm doing is requesting that people pray for us.' She declined to release anymore details about her son's death.
Samuels, who had 1.42million YouTube subscribers and nearly as many Instagram followers, was best known for his controversial dating advice.
