Babies as young as six-months-old and toddlers up to the age of five may soon be able to get a Covid jab.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration have confirmed they're assessing an application by Moderna to extend its Spikevax vaccine to young children.
The jab is approved for kids aged six and over, but now a low dose of the vaccine is under assessment to be administered to younger children.
Currently there are no approved Covid vaccines for Australian kids under the age of five.
