Motorists have been baffled by conflicting street signs that instructed them to drive at completely different speeds.
Two speed signs, one for 60km/h and another for 70km/h, were erected within a metre of each other while the speed limit was being changed.
The sign gaffe on Vahland Avenue in the southern Perth suburb of Riverton was up for less than a day, but not before hundreds of eagle-eyed drivers spotted the mistake.
'Just to note we think the 70 sign was intended to be removed. Obviously an issue that needs to be rectified,' one wrote when sharing the photo online.
