MS-13 gang member faces life in prison after pleading guilty to murdering three men, including an 18-year-old who he lured to a New York baseball field to smoke marijuana then beat with him a bat and stabbed him MS-13 gang member Jhonny Contreras pleaded guilty Tuesday to two murders in 2013 and another in 2015 which took place in Long Island, New York The 28-year-old said he and other gang members used a stolen vehicle to search for rival gang members in May 2013 They shot dead Derrick Mayes on May 26 and Keenan Russell on May 28 because they though both Black men were members of the Bloods street gang On November 19, 2015, Contreras and his cohorts spotted 18-year-old Cesar Rivera-Vasquez at a deli and invited him to smoke marijuana at a park They group though he was a member of the Mexican Raza Loca gang and asked him to remove his shirt to see his tattoo, which they thought was a gang symbol The suspects attacked Rivera-Vasquez with a bat and stabbed him dead; his body was buried under a pile of dirt and it was not recovered until April 2018 Contreras could serve a life prison sentence; his sentencing date in unknown

An MS-13 gang member is facing life in prison after he pleaded guilty to the murders of three men in New York.
