An Illinois home that is almost entirely submerged underground nicknamed the 'basement house' has gone viral for its bizarre set up.
The unique Deer Creek house was listed on the real estate website Zillow earlier this week and immediately caught the internet's attention.
The 832 square foot home is located on a spacious lot and only has it's roof visible as it is predominantly underground.
It features two bedrooms and one bathroom that comes equipped with a washer and dryer and the property even comes with an above ground shed.
The house, built in 1951, doesn't look like much from the outside but photos reveal a relatively cozy home with small windows that let sunlight in.
