A shopping centre security guard has adopted an old-school method of dealing with law-breaking citizens when he catches them red-handed.  

Father of seven and trained security guard Kevin Martin - nicknamed 'The Kevinator' - confronts shoplifters at a shopping centre in Logan, south of Brisbane, Queensland, and isn't afraid to use strong language to get the message across. 

Mr Martin makes no apology for his strong-armed approach.

Equipped with a walkie talkie and a body-worn camera, Mr Martin's tough approach includes naming, shaming and documenting every thief that he spots when patrolling the local shops. 

'I suppose you could say it's a bit more old-school security,' Mr Martin told 9News Queensland.
