The NYPD has finally arrested the on-the-run suspect wanted for shooting dead a man on the subway on Sunday, according to police sources cited by ABC and CBS. 

Andrew Abdullah was taken into custody today - some 48 hours after allegedly shooting dead Daniel Enriquez on a Manhattan-bound Q train on Sunday. It is not yet clear where he was arrested or what led police to him. 

An NYPD spokesman could not confirm the reports.  

Enriquez was on his way to brunch with his brother when he was shot in the torso in an unprovoked attack. 

Abdullah - who was out on bail at the time- fled the train at the Canal Street station and was on the run for several days but
