Supermodel Kate Moss's voice turned out to be the star of the show as the supermodel gave evidence in the $50million defamation lawsuit brought by Johnny Depp against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Moss famously was in a relationship with the Pirates of the Caribbean star from 1994 to 1998.

She appeared via video link at the hearing at Fairfax, Virginia, as she gave evidence in support of Depp and denied claims he had ever assaulted her.

As she recounted a story about she accidentally fell down the stairs during a holiday in Jamaica, social media users were quick to heap praise on the model's voice.

'Kate Moss should do audiobooks. I could listen to her pixie voice for hours,' said one fan.

'I've never heard her speak, her voice is heavenly,' said another.

A person tweeted: 'I can listen to her speak all day. Kate Moss has such a soothing voice!'

One person added: 'All these years, since I was in high school, I've been seeing her face among other supermodels and this is the very first time I heard her voice.'

Miss Moss told the hearing that Depp ‘never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs’.

Appearing from her mansion in Gloucestershire, Miss Moss appeared tense as she was sworn in as a witness, pledging to ‘tell the truth under the penalty of law’.

And while her appearance lasted less than three minutes, it struck a blow to the case of Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard.

The 58-year-old actor is suing Miss Heard for $50million (£40million) after she claimed in a newspaper that she was a domestic abuse survivor. She has counter-sued for $100million, claiming he destroyed her career by calling her a liar.
