Crews at the Half Moone Cruise Center terminal are preparing for the ship’s arrival. Nauticus, which operates Half Moone, called the seasons the busiest year ever for cruises, according to WTKR. Carnival Magic, the largest cruise ship to ever sail out of Virginia, carries almost 4,000 passengers and was docked at Nauticus on May 15. The latest party voyage marks the first cruise vacation to depart from Norfolk since 2019.
