A poll ahead of Donald Trump's visit to Wyoming for a rally on Saturday shows Representative Liz Cheney is trailing top primary competitor Harriet Hageman by a whopping 30 points.

The WPAi/Club for Growth PAC survey shows that 56 percent of Republican Wyoming primary voters would support Hageman if the election were held today.

Trump endorsed Hageman to replace Cheney after the three-term congresswoman defected from MAGA Republicans and became one of the two GOP members to join the Democrat-led committee probing the January 6 Capitol riot.

Cheney officially filed for the 2022 primary on Thursday, but only 26 percent said they would vote for her reelection of the 400 likely Republican primary voters polled in the deep red state on May 24 and 25.

Wyoming State Senator Anthony Bouchard is in third place with 12 percent, while another 6 percent are undecided on who they will vote for come primary election day on August 16, 2022.

Bouchard lost his committee assignments in the state's legislature for 'a continued pattern of intimidating and disorderly conduct' and has garnered some unfavorable headlines.

Almost three months before the election, Trump is coming on Saturday, May 28 to Wyoming to rally and drum up even more support for Hageman to take on Cheney.

Hageman is a trial lawyer who placed third in the 2018 GOP gubernatorial primary.

A 28-year-old waitress in Casper told DailyMail.com on Friday that while the Cheney name runs deep in Wyoming, she wouldn't be surprised if the congresswoman was ousted from the House of Representatives in the midterms.
