A grandmother was killed by her own family's car when she fell underneath it as it unexpectedly rolled backwards down the driveway, an inquest heard.
June Murray, 76, was a passenger in the black Ford Kuga on a visit to her son's home for a weekend stay.
But tragedy struck when June fell while leaving the car and it started to roll backwards down the driveway.
An inquest heard her son's partner Georgina Jones had been driving but could only watch on in horror.
Georgina had just put a takeaway meal in the house and left June to exit the car
She said she was 'certain' the handbrake lever was up, but the coroner said it was impossible to know if it was fully applied.
