Jubilant revellers raised a glass to the Queen for her Platinum Jubilee as huge street parties continued into the night on Thursday before crowds are set to pack out the pubs as they make the most of the four-day weekend.
Up and down the country, boozy Britons did not fail to throw massive parties fit for a Queen as they celebrated the Jubilee by erecting metres-long tables down the centre of packed streets.
Photographs showed eager revellers raising a glass to Her Majesty and decorating their streets and homes with Union Jack bunting and decorations as they put on huge celebrations to mark the occasion.
