Unimpressed visitors have vented their disappointment with Vivid lashing out at the large crowds, freezing weather and underwhelming light displays.

Some spectators were frustrated by the event, which returned for the first time since the start of the Covid pandemic in 2020.

One woman uploaded a video to TikTok claiming the highlight of the event was visiting a vendor to buy a tacky headpiece that lights up.
