Thursday 16 June 2022 10:55 PM Radical pro-abortion group 'Jane's Revenge' declares 'open season' on pro-life ... trends now Radical pro-abortion group 'Jane's Revenge' has declared 'open season' on pro-life clinics as it described in a letter posted this week how 'easy and fun' it is to attack them after claiming responsibility for a string of vandalism and arson attacks. The attacks, mostly lodged at Christian faith-based pregnancy crisis centers, have taken place over the past few weeks in the wake of the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion suggesting the court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade. Clinics have been tagged with renditions of the messages 'Jane's Revenge' or 'If abortions aren't safe, neither are you.' In a letter dated June 14 and posted to the Jane's Revenge website on Wednesday, the group claimed responsibility for the attacks as they pointed to a supposed 30-day deadline for all pro-life groups to cease operations, warning them that 'your thirty days expired yesterday.' Jane's Revenge, a pro-abortion radical group, has claimed responsibility for multiple attacks on several Christian faith-based pregnancy crisis centers In a letter dated June 14 and posted to the Jane's Revenge website on Wednesday, the group claimed responsibility for the attacks as they pointed to a supposed 30-day deadline for all pro-life groups to cease operations 'We were unsurprised to see thirty days come and thirty days pass with no sign of consilience or even bare-minimum self-reflection from you.' 'History may not repeat itself, but it certainly rhymes, and we've already seen such stanzas where medical autonomy is stripped away, humanity is increasingly criminalized, and merely surviving becomes largely untenable.' The letter comes as the U.S. Supreme Court is expected to announced their decision in a Mississippi abortion case this month. The decision may overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that recognized a women's constitutional right to have an abortion. 'We offered an honourable way out,' the letter continued. 'You could have walked away. Now the leash is off. And we will make it as hard as possible for your campaign of oppression to continue.' The group boasted about several of the attacks, including two of the most recent ones that happened on June 7 when a Christian pregnancy center in Buffalo, New York was firebombed and a Mountain Area Pregnancy Services center in Asheville, NC was vandalized. The letter described how 'easy and fun it is to attack' the centers as the group vowed to take 'increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures' following the deadline's expiration. 'Those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti,' the letter threatened. CompassCare President & CEO James Harden, right, speaks to the media after an early morning firebombing at their crisis pregnancy center in Amherst, N.Y., on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 In the letter, which claims that Jane's Revenge is 'not one group but many,' and has disseminated 'communiqués in locations across the country, but mainly in the Pacific Northwest. They've claimed responsibility for various attacks in Madison, Wisconsin; Ft. Collins, Colorado; Des Moines, Iowa; Hollywood, Florida; Denton, Texas; and Washington, D.C. They also claimed to have attacked Portland, Eugene and Gresham in Oregon, along with Olympia, Lynwood and Vancouver in Washington state, and Reisterstown and Frederick in Maryland. 'From here forward, any anti-choice group who closes their doors, and stops operating will no longer be a target. But until you do, it's open season, and we know where your operations are,' the letter reads, with the group adding that it appeals to anyone 'with the urge to paint, to burn, to cut, to jam' to commit violence. 'The infrastructure of the enslavers will not survive. We will never stop, back down, slow down, or retreat. We did not want this; but it is upon us, and so we must deal with it proportionally. We exist in confluence and solidarity with all others in the struggle for complete liberation,' the letter reads. 'Our recourse now is to defend ourselves and to build robust, caring communities of mutual aid, so that we may heal ourselves without the need of the medical industry or any other intermediary. Through attacking, we find joy, courage, and strip the veneer of impenetrability held by these violent institutions.' The Compass Care, a Christian pregnancy center in Buffalo, New York was firebombed on June 7. The windows in the reception room and nurses' office were broken and fires lit Compass Care's Buffalo office exterior was charred by fire In the letter posted this week, Jane's Revenge claimed responsibility for vandalizing the Agape Pregnancy Center in Des Moines, Iowa on June 2. Vandals broke two windows at the center and used black and red spray paint to write 'God loves abortions' and 'fake clinic' on the walls. In the message posted to social media, Jane's Revenge said the vandalism was 'fun and easy,' the Des Moines Register reported. The two most recent attacks claimed to have been carried out by Jane's Revenge were on June 7 in Buffalo, New York and Asheville, NC. The message 'Jane was here,' was scrawled across the building's exterior. The same day, a North Carolina-based Mountain Area Pregnancy Services that provides counseling for pregnant women was also vandalized. A portion of the building was defaced in red spray paint with the glaring message 'If abortions aren't safe, neither are you!' and an anarchist symbol at the front of the building.' According to police, more graffiti was found on the side of the building stating: 'No forced birth.' On May 8, a Molotov cocktail was thrown through a window of the headquarters of the nonprofit political advocacy group Wisconsin Family Action office in Madison, Wisconsin. The outside of the building was graffitied with anarchist insignia, the numbers '1312' (meaning 'all cops are bastards'), and 'if abortions aren't safe then you aren't either.' No one was hurt in the attack but, police called it an act of vandalism and arson. An investigative reporter for the online Netherlands-based news site Bellingcat, released the first communication from 'Jane's Revenge' after the attack. The statement read: 'This is not a declaration of war. War has been upon us for decades. A war which we did not want, and did not provoke. Too long have we been attacked for asking for basic medical care. Too long have we been shot, bombed, and forced into childbirth without consent.' The statement also demanded 'the disbanding of all anti-choice establishments' within 30 days, and states that its first attack was 'only a warning,' but there will be future attacks until 'the inalienable right to manage our own health is returned to us.' The group claims to have a presence across the United States that could launch further attacks.' Since then, similar attacks were carried out in cities across the country. The group derives its name from an underground abortion network operating in Chicago in the late 1960s and early '70s called the Jane Collective. As we said: we are not one group but many. You have seen us in Madison WI, Ft. Collins CO, Reisertown MA, Olympia WA, Des Moines IA, Lynwood WA, Washington DC, Ashville NC, Buffalo NY, Hollywood FL, Vancouver WA, Frederick MA, Denton TX, Gresham OR, Eugene OR, Portland OR, among others, and we work in countless locations invisibly. You've read the communiqués from the various cells, you've seen the proliferating messages in graffiti and elsewhere, and you know that we are serious. We were unsurprised to see thirty days come and thirty days pass with no sign of consilience or even bare-minimum self-reflection from you who impersonate healthcare providers in order to harm the vulnerable. History may not repeat itself, but it certainly rhymes, and we've already seen such stanzas where medical autonomy is stripped away, humanity is increasingly criminalized, and merely surviving becomes largely untenable. Your thirty days expired yesterday. We offered an honourable way out. You could have walked away. Now the leash is off. And we will make it as hard as possible for your campaign of oppression to continue. We have demonstrated in the past month how easy and fun it is to attack. We are versatile, we are mercurial, and we answer to no one but ourselves. We promised to take increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures. Rest assured that we will, and those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti. Sometimes you will see what we do, and you will know that it is us. Sometimes you will think you merely are unlucky, because you cannot see the ways which we interfere in your affairs. But your pointless attempts to control others, and make life more difficult, will not be met passively. Eventually your insurance companies, and your financial backers will realize you are a bad investment. From here forward, any anti-choice group who closes their doors, and stops operating will no longer be a target. But until you do, it's open season, and we know where your operations are. The infrastructure of the enslavers will not survive. We will never stop, back down, slow down, or retreat. We did not want this; but it is upon us, and so we must deal with it proportionally. We exist in confluence and solidarity with all others in the struggle for complete liberation. Our recourse now is to defend ourselves and to build robust, caring communities of mutual aid, so that we may heal ourselves without the need of the medical industry or any other intermediary. Through attacking, we find joy, courage, and strip the veneer of impenetrability held by these violent institutions. And for the allies of ours who doubt the authenticity of the communiqués and actions: there is a way you can get irrefutable proof that these actions are real. Go do one of your own. You are already one of us. Everyone with the urge to paint, to burn, to cut, to jam: now is the time. Go forth and manifest the things you wish to see. Stay safe, and practice your cursive. —Jane's Revenge Advertisement All rights reserved for this news site (dailymail) and under his responsibility
