Dubbed the nation's biggest pest by Western Australian authorities, Tash Peterson has endured numerous brushes with the law and caused a stir on the streets of Perth with her regular animal rights stunts. She also flaunts her body on adult site OnlyFans to raise awareness for the cause to her growing fanbase of almost 10,000 followers. But Ms Peterson has the full support of boyfriend Jack Higgs, who not only does her body paint, but also films her semi-naked protests. The outspoken activist makes no apologies for the extraordinary lengths she goes to get her message across, despite constant death threats, abuse and countless court appearances. 'I use my body to raise awareness for those who have no bodily autonomy, whether it be topless or close to being nude and I think it works brilliantly to raise awareness for animals,' Ms Peterson told The Project. Tash Peterson (pictured) makes headline regularly with her topless and semi-naked protests She insists her boyfriend has no problem with her flaunting her body in public and on OnlyFans. 'It's well known for being a porn platform but I've used it as a way to make money to do what I want to do full-time for animal rights, she said. 'He doesn't see it as cheating and supports me for doing what I want to do with my body. Mr Higgs admits he understands why other men would have concerns about their girlfriends exposing their bodies. 'Seeing Tash half naked or even fully naked with lingerie on in public I can imagine would be difficult for some boyfriends,' he said. 'However, I found it quite strengthening for our relationship.' 'At the start, it might have been a little bit weird. We were unsure about it but we realised there is nothing wrong with it.' 'It is an expression of Tash's body and she uses it confidently so I admire that.' Jack Higgs (left) has no problems with partner Tash Peterson flaunting her body in public Mr Higgs is also a vegan himself. 'There's a lot public backlash so I want to be there for that,' he said. But Tash is a strong person and she wants me to stand back and capture everything.' 'I want to be there exposing everything what's going on because this because this kind of public backlash is the thing we want to be exposing as well. Ms Peterson also shared a softer and vulnerable side, admitting she hasn't always been comfortable about being the centre of attention. 'People think I'm loud and outspoken because I'm an activist, but the real me and the me as a child was very quiet and shy,' she said. I wanted to be with animals and I didn't care for being around other humans.' Ms Peterson opened up about death threats and shocking abuse she receives online on a daily basis from not only men but also women. 'I've been called every name under the sun from a w**** to s**t and s***k,' she said. 'I was told to kill myself. I've actually had direct threats from people who said they were going to come to my house and rape and murder me.' She's also had animal bodies and excrement thrown in her driveway after her address and phone number were posted online. Jack Higgs paints his partner's body for a semi-naked protest outside a Perth McDonalds The notorious vegan activist (pictured) is on OnlyFans to raise awareness about animal rights Ms Peterson is no stranger to controversy since her instant decision overnight to stop eating meat and become a vegan at the age of 23 after a documentary changed her life five years ago. Her antics have led police and policymakers in WA to describe her as 'Australia's biggest pest'. Ms Peterson has copped several fines for her semi-nude demonstrations which she has executed in designer stores, restaurants and supermarkets. Last August, she marched topless through a Louis Vuitton store in Perth while smeared with her own menstrual blood. which later saw her fined $3,500 by a Perth magistrate. The activist has also dressed up as a cow and demonstrated in the meat section of supermarkets, invaded the pitch at an AFLW match, and donned a blood-soaked apron while screaming at patrons in a KFC and Coles. She also faced trial for a December 2020 protest at the Boatshed Markets in Cottesloe where she also appeared shirtless, with her chest painted in a cow pattern, and yelled at shoppers that cows were being raped for meat and dairy. Tash Peterson's regular semi-naked and topless stunts in Perth are filmed by her boyfriend She and her partner were also thrown out of an IGA supermarket in southern WA earlier this year for refusing to wear a face mask, calling her treatment an 'injustice' and a breach of her 'human rights'. She told Daily Mail Australia at the time they were 'caught off guard' by Premier Mark McGowan's face mask mandate when they entered the store as they had not seen many people wearing them days earlier and had dined at a café where they didn't need them. She most recently led a semi-nude demonstration at Perth's Hay Street Mall, where she refused calls police who ask her to cover up her chest covered only with pink body paint. Ms Peterson has warned everyone her brushes with the law won't end anytime soon. 'There will be a lot of criminal charges in the future and so many court cases after that, giving me a platform to spread my message for animals,' she told The Project. I'll keep going until I can really until the day I die, I want to keep speaking up for animals. 'I hope to see animal liberation a lot sooner so I don't have to be doing it for the rest of my life.'
