Weather experts warn thunder, rain, floods and even chance of HAIL are on the way despite temperature poised to hit 82F tomorrow Met Office issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for Thursday stretching from Sheffield down to Bath   Although Thursday will be a washout for those in the south of the country, temperatures will rise in the north  Thursday is also set to see more rail strikes, with the poor weather likely to add to the overall travel chaos

Those hoping to soak up a bit of June sun might be in for a washout as weather experts have warned of thunder, torrential downpours and floods on Thursday.  

The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for Thursday, stretching from Sheffield in the North, across the South East and down to Bath in the South West.

Although it seems Thursday and Friday might be a washout for those in the south of the country, the mercury is set to rise to a whopping 84F (29C) in the north of England later today. 

Thursday is also set to see more rail strikes, with the poor weather likely to add to travel woes.
