Katie Price booked a holiday in Thailand before she was due to appear in court for breaching the rules of a restraining order when she sent a foul-mouthed text about her ex-husband's fiancée, it has emerged.
The former glamour model - who already has nine driving convictions and must also return to court over her bankruptcy - faced the prospect of a stint behind bars after admitting the breach, when she sent a text to Kieran Hayler, branding Michelle Penticost a 'gutter s**g'.
She was told that she would not face prison for the offence, but instead has to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work.
However, the 44-year-old will stay in a 'plush Thai hotel' tonight and spend two-weeks with her fiancée Carl Woods, 33, on a holiday which she had already booked, according to The Sun.
A source told the newspaper: 'Katie was super-confident this whole time. She booked this holiday weeks ago.
'It's disgraceful, to be honest. She’s shown time and again she has no respect for the courts and this is just the latest example. She's laughing at our justice system.'
Price will have to return to Crawley Magistrates' Court on July 5 charged with speeding and failing to provide information to the police.
The troubled celebrity was allegedly clocked driving over the 60mph speed limit in a BMW close to her mucky mansion in Horsham, West Sussex - just 11 days before she crashed her car in September last year.
The case will now be dealt with under the 'single justice procedure', which allows for adults charged with summary-only, non-imprisonable offences to have their cases dealt with remotely by a magistrate.
It means the case can be dealt with by a fine and/or points on Price's licence and a driving ban. She cannot be jailed under the procedure.
Price avoided jail for September's booze and drug-fuelled crash by checking herself into the Priory for rehab costing nearly £7,000 a week. In total, she has been banned from the roads six times.
A single magistrate who does not have to be sitting at the court where a case is listed to be able to deal with it.

The model - who attended wearing an all-green outfit and was heard to tell a reporter to 'suck my d**k' after she was asked about the prospects of a prison sentence - had been banned from contacting Miss Penticost directly or indirectly for five years in June 2019.
This was after she hurled a foul-mouthed 'tirade of abuse' at her during a row in a school playground.
The message read: 'Tell your c***ing w***e piece of s**t girlfriend not to start on me.
'She has a restraining order so shouldn't try antagonise me as she is in breach and I'm sure she doesn't want people knowing that she was having an affair with you behind my back. That gutter s**g.'
The court heard the offence was committed due to Price's use of the words 'tell your', which was an indirect attempt to communicate with Penticost.
It was also said that her message to Mr Hayler may have been triggered by an Instagram post by Miss Penticost, which she denies was aimed at Price.
But at Lewes Crown Court today, Price was told she would not be going to prison, and would have to do 170 hours of community service and pay £1,500 costs.
Judge Stephen Mooney told Price: 'In my judgement, this offence was committed out of anger.
'The words you used were highly offensive and inflammatory so the breach cannot
