Princess Beatrice found herself in a tricky situation at Glastonbury after her card was apparently declined for payment not once, not twice... but three times.

The royal was among the most photographed of the celebrity festival-goers who attended the event on Friday with headliner Billie Eilish.

But a visit to the Michelin-starred Pony Bistro stall in Glastonbury apparently left the princess, 33, blushing when it came to payment, The Daily Star reports.

A source told the newspaper: 'She tried to pay by card but it got declined three times.'

Despite the short-lived embarrassment, the Queen's granddaughter was unperturbed and soon joined her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi among the other revellers.
