Police are searching for two suspects responsible for killing a grandmother and injuring her eight-year-old grandson during a hit and run rampage.
The unidentified driver - in a Honda HRV with mismatched license plates - and a passenger were approached by police in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood around 7.10 p.m. on Saturday.
The two occupants were smoking marijuana when they 'fled at an extremely high rate of speed,' police said.
The driver sped down Ralph Avenue and struck a bicyclist, 28, and two pedestrians - leaving one dead. The vehicle continued down the street, ran a traffic light, t-boned a Honda Accord, and collided into another man, 43, on the sidewalk.
The man was able to quickly move after the collision and faces non-life threatening injuries.
Moments later, the driver took off running from the crash as witnesses chased after him.
The suspects remains on the loose as of Monday, New York Police Department told The Daily Mail.
