That weather system is forecast to begin moving southwest into southeast Queensland from Wednesday afternoon, heading into Thursday. By Friday morning a large cloud-band is expected to cover most of the NT's northeast, Central Queensland and Queensland's coast. The rain will continue to move east on Saturday before clearing up before largely easing on Sunday afternoon. However, the system will re-intensify on Monday and is expected to bring heavy rainfall from that afternoon.
