A man's bullet-ridden body has been found on the street outside a school, with police investigating it as a suspected murder.
Gunshots were heard at 8pm on Wednesday night, with police then discovering the body near Cranbourne Secondary College in Melbourne's south-east.
A 49-year-old man was arrested and is assisting police.
