The 20-year-old Irishman was in serious' condition with head injuries following his fall from the third floor of the four-star TRH Jardin del Mar Beach Hotel. Emergency services took the man to Son Espases Hospital in the island capital after the alarm was raised just after 4.30 Saturday morning when responders found him at the back of the hotel in a gap between the hotel building and a small wall. Local media said he told emergency responders he fell while being chased. 'He has been taken to Son Espases Hospital in Palma.' Emergency responders stabilised him at the scene for around 25 minutes before taking him to hospital in an ambulance, with his worried friends reportedly following close behind in a taxi. On May 3, a 50-year-old Irish tourist was rushed to hospital after falling from a second-floor apartment in Santa Ponsa, a popular resort with Irish holidaymakers which is around a 15-minute drive from Magaluf. Only nine days later, a 34-year-old British tourist plunged to his death from the seventh-floor of his hotel in the holiday resort. Witnesses filmed him pacing up and down a narrow ledge on the outside of his balcony at the four-star Melia South Beach Hotel before he fell. Police said he had been drinking before the 8.30am plunge.
