A man dubbed 'The Gimp Man of Essex' has returned to the streets of Colchester after going viral in the pandemic.
The Gimp Man of Essex went viral during the Covid-19 pandemic after he documented himself shopping in Tesco dress in the gimp suit.
Going under an online moniker of Robert Jubbly, The Gimp Man of Essex now plans to raise £1,000 for the charity Mind in mid and north-east Essex.
Footage shows Jubbly walking along Long Wyre Street in the town centre clad in the skin-hugging rubber suit as shoppers walk by seemingly oblivious.
Jubbly encourages people to take pictures whether it be a sneaky snap or an outright selfie together.
He says he doesn't do this to scare people and he 'doesn't bite' and 'doesn't break any laws' - he simply does this for fun and to attract attention.
Jubbly said: 'I'm a normal guy who just likes wearing the suit. It's a bit of an escape for me.'
