Hunter Biden joined his father on the White House balcony on Monday evening to watch the July 4th fireworks, amid continuing fallout from the scandal of his laptop.

Hunter, 52, held his two-year-old son, Beau, in his arms. At one point Joe Biden, 79, gave the infant a kiss.

Hunter and his wife Melissa Cohen, a South African filmmaker, spent the weekend with Joe and Jill Biden at Camp David.

They then celebrated the Fourth of July with the traditional cook-out with military families on the South Lawn, before taking in the view from the balcony.

Hunter's appearance comes as top House Republicans, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, have vowed to pursue investigations into his business dealings if they take the majority in the House.

In a July 1 op-ed for The New York Post, McCarthy and Reps. Jim Jordan and James Comer wrote that Congressional Republicans' investigation 'have found Biden family members used their connections with Joe to enrich themselves through expectations of access and promises about what a Biden administration might do.'

They wrote: 'A Republican majority will be committed to uncovering the facts the Democrats, Big Tech and the legacy media have suppressed.'

Hunter Biden has long been a top target of Congressional Republicans due to his business dealings in Ukraine and China, while his father was serving as vice president.

DailyMail.com revealed last month that Joe Biden spoke with Hunter about his business dealings with a Chinese criminal that Hunter dubbed the 'spy chief of China'.

Joe called Hunter on December 12, 2018 saying that he wanted to talk to him after reading a New York Times story about Hunter's dealings with the Chinese oil giant CEFC.
