A dying Italian man whose final wish was to marry his partner has been given the ultimate wedding gift of a new heart.
Maurizio Calorio, 47, was on a life-support machine close to death in the Molinete hospital in Turin after undergoing cardiac arrest last month.
While lying in hospital, he decided to marry his long-term partner Silvia Duca, 42, while he still could.
