A motorbike rider has been catapulted through the air and then run over by a car in a heart-stopping accident captured on dashcam.
The rider was late to brake when the cars in front abruptly slowed, and rode straight into the rear of the car he was following.
That flung the rider through the air, landing heavily on the road, while a garbage truck that was following the motorbike also hit the stationary car, which was carrying P plates.
Just as the rider was remarkably getting to his feet, the car that was shunted by the garbage truck rolled forward, running over the motorcyclist.
