Man, 26, is arrested for trying to light Molotov cocktails and throw them at Capitol cops near Washington DC's Union Station Capitol Police on Wednesday afternoon received a call about a man with a Molotov cocktail near Union Station The man attempted to light one of several Molotov cocktails he had on him and threw it at the two Capitol Police, but was arrested The two officers 'were treated for minor injuries' said Sean Gallagher, of Capitol Police Bernard L. McCutcheon, 26, of Washington DC has been charged with possession of a Molotov cocktail He is also charged with two counts of assault on a police officer, and one count of assault with a deadly weapon A backpack that had two other bottles of liquid were also recovered at the scene; police do not believe the Capitol or members of Congress were the targets
