The House select committee on January 6 is expected to hold its second primetime hearing Thursday, after another round of testimony Tuesday, following Cassidy Hutchinson's bombshell appearance in a surprise hearing last week.

The Guardian reported Thursday that a primetime hearing was in the works for next Thursday, though the committee has not officially added it to the schedule.

The committee did announce a Tuesday hearing at 10 a.m.

Reps. Elaine Luria and Adam Kinzinger would lead questioning during the Thursday primetime hearing, with the subject matter being what was happening inside the White House during the January 6 Capitol attack, the Guardian said.

Additionally the Guardian reported that on Tuesday, Reps. Jamie Raskin and Stephanie Murphy would lead a session on former President Donald Trump sending extremist groups to Washington, D.C., so they would be present on January 6 - the day Congress would count the Electoral Votes, and cement President Joe Biden as the winner.
