The wife of Queens 'duck sauce killer' was arraigned on weapons charges after cops raided her Briarwood home and found eight handguns and ammunition weeks after her husband shot dead a Chinese restaurant delivery driver over duck sauce.

Dorothy Hirsch, 62, pleaded not guilty during her arraignment on Monday in Queens Supreme Court as her attorney Mark Bederow stood nearby.

On June 3, Hirsch was arrested after police conducted a raid at her home two days after her husband and alleged killer, Glenn Hirsch was charged in the April 30 shooting death of Zhiwen Yan.

During the bust authorities seized 8 handguns and ammunition from Hirsch's Briarwood home, officials said.

Police records show the couple live in separate homes with Glenn Hirsch living in nearby Jamaica.

Hours after the Monday arraignment, attorney Mark Bedow told DailyMail.com that his client [Dorothy Hirsch] has 'nothing to do with the allegations against her husband and is absolutely innocent,' he said in part.

Bedow said that Dorothy, who works as a registered nurse, has not lived with her husband, Glenn for years.

'The DA is fully aware that he had access to her apartment and that the guns were recovered in boxes and garbage bags, among Glenn Hirsch’s other junk in a closet used by him,' Bedow said.

'The DA’s own paperwork acknowledges that the other items recovered from the closet were his things. He is linked to at least one and possibly more of the firearms by forensic evidence.'

He added: 'To prosecute Dorothy, a decent 62 year old woman who has never been arrested with knowingly possessing his firearms—with the intent to use them unlawfully—is preposterous.'

Bedow told DailyMail.com that even his client's bail was set at an exorbitant amount that was well over $150,000.  He said at her July 12 court hearing he was able to get it substantially reduced to $30,000.

'She is a good and decent, law abiding woman who is being prosecuted merely because she is legally married to the person who is accused of committing a heinous murder.'

'She should be judged on the merits of the credible evidence against her, not the alleged criminal acts of her husband.'

'She is absolutely innocent of possessing any firearms in her apartment certainly with the intent to use unlawfully,' Hirsch's attorney Mark Bedow (pictured left) said.
