Liz Truss tonight mocked Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford as a 'low-energy version of Jeremy Corbyn' tonight, days after picking a fight with Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon.
She made the jibe at the softly-spoken premier as she appeared at a Tory leadership hustings in Cardiff.
Mr Drakeford leads a Labour administration in Cardiff which has clashed with the Tories in Westminster over issues including the Covid lockdowns and economic recovery.
Earlier this week Ms Truss branded his Scottish counterpart an 'attention seeker' - sparking fury with the SNP who said they and the Scottish people were 'insulted' and 'absolutely horrified'.
