A man has been arrested over three linked assaults in the Scottish Highlands - including one feared to have involved a firearm.
The 39-year-old is believed to be tied to the incidents which took place on the Isle of Skye and Dornie this morning but has now been taken into custody.
Police and ambulance services rushed to the scene after reports were made of an injured woman at a property in the Tarksavaig area of the Scots island at 9am.
Sources say that the suspect used firearms whilst an emergency services helicopter also reportedly attended the scene.
