A new poll shows that 59 percent of Americans are 'concerned' about President Joe Biden's mental health, as questions linger over whether the 79-year-old should run for a second term.

An I&I/TIPP poll released Monday found that 36 percent of respondents were 'very concerned' about mental health, with an additional 23 percent saying they were somewhat concerned. 

Pollsters found that 18 percent were not very concerned, with 21 percent saying they had no concerns at all. 

Another 2 percent of respondents said they weren't sure. 

Party ideology played into people's perceptions of the Democratic president. 

Among Democrats, 39 percent said they were worried about Biden's mental condition, versus 82 percent of Republicans and 56 percent of independents who agreed.
