Jeremy Vine has sparked a debate online after admitting riding straight over a zebra crossing while a pedestrian was trying to cross- less than a day after shaming a moped rider for doing the same thing.
Posting a clip on his Twitter of the moment, he wrote: 'I have to hold my hands up on this one.
'Take a look if you can spot what I failed to. A big lesson for me (and the driver).'
In the footage, Vine was riding on New Cavendish Street in London yesterday and as he came to a zebra crossing, he sped straight through.
It happened straight after a car whizzed off to the left without stopping for the man.
Upon closer inspection on the right-hand side of the clip, the man who is trying to cross puts his arms out in annoyance.
Rewinding the clip for his Twitter users, Vine is seen looking over his shoulder afterwards and says he cannot believe what just happened.
He wrote: 'What the... I didn't even see that' and remarked that the sun was very bright and the man crossing is in deep shadow.
Vine, whose Twitter bio reads 'If cycle lanes are wrong I don't wanna be right' admitted: 'No wonder he is furious, I would be too.'

It came just after a driver sped straight over the crossing. A man waiting to cross was not happy and put his arms out angrily
His post has garnered mixed reactions online, with some furious about his failure to let the pedestrian across.
One person wrote: 'See if you can spot... You weren't paying attention and could have killed a small child.
'But since you're well known probably would have been given a £500 fine. If you're approaching a zebra crossing your DEFAULT position should be to assume there are people crossing.'
However, Vine replied: 'No, there was no question of me colliding with anyone because I would have seen people who I might have hit.
'You're talking about the car driver. My offence was to go over a zebra when there are people on it. I've posted that because I ALREADY KNOW.'
But the commenter remained defiant and replied: 'People like you are unsafe on the roads and should be getting Ubers. But, but, but the car went through and I... That's a defence for a car driver is it, if a cyclist goes through and they follow and kill a small child...?'
