Embattled actor Alec Baldwin was seen going for a leisurely walk in the Hamptons just hours after the FBI released a damning report revealing he did shoot and kill cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film.

Baldwin, 64, was pictured walking through the dunes along the water on Sunday, wearing a blue bathing suit and an unbuttoned black polo shirt as he carried a blue and red striped towel and what appeared to be a piece of rope.

He looked rather disheveled, with his hair grown out and sporting a scruffy beard as he carried all of his belongings in his right arm, keeping his left arm free to reveal a brown Lokai bracelet.

The movie star seemed to be alone, strolling the beach without his family, as he slipped out of his leather sandals to dig his feet into the sand.

The outing marks the first time the actor has been seen since the FBI released its report concluding he pulled the trigger on a gun on the set of his film 'Rust' in October 2021, firing off bullets that killed Halyna Hutchins, 42, and injured director Joel Souza.

Baldwin has not spoken publicly since the revelation, after repeatedly denying that he pulled the trigger on the gun, which was supposed to be loaded with dummy bullets.

Now, police in Santa Fe, New Mexico say they are considering filing criminal charges against him.

The FBI forensic report released Friday examined every aspect of the fatal accident as part of a broader investigation to see if any criminal charges can be brought.

Part of the report found that the revolver, a single-action .45 Colt caliber F.lli Pietta, could not have been fired without someone pulling the trigger, despite Baldwin's incessant claims.

They made the decision by conducting an accidental discharge test, but it is unclear if this was with the exact same gun or an identical copy, according to ABC News.

It states that the gun, when working properly, will not release a bullet and primer at the same time just by someone fiddling with the hammer as Baldwin has suggested.

The FBI reports were immediately forwarded to the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator OMI, who then passed them to the Sheriffs Office on Wednesday.

Now, officials say, Baldwin could face criminal charges for the shooting.

Santa Fe authorities have already said they are waiting on the obtaining the actor's phone records before any charges are brought.

Once they receive those records, detectives will review them, and a case file will be sent to the District Attorney to determine if charges are appropriate.

Baldwin previously claimed that he had pulled back the hammer and posed with it for the camera while Halyna coached him on the positioning.

In interviews with investigators Baldwin said he was told that he was holding a 'cold gun,' meaning that it was loaded with dummy rounds.

The actor said that he released it, and it fired without him pulling the trigger, with Baldwin adding ‘I did not pull the trigger.’

He also previously told the sheriff's that on the day of shooting, a box of dummy bullets that had gone missing suddenly reappeared.

After the accident involving Hutchins, the crew went back to the box and discovered live rounds had been mixed in with the dummy rounds, he said.

Baldwin was adamant that the sheriff's investigators should question Hannah Gutierrez, the armorer, about the box.

But Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the 24-year-old armorer, has repeatedly issued statements protesting her innocence.

She said she was overworked on set and has filed a lawsuit claiming an ammunition supplier created dangerous conditions by including live ammunition in a box that was supposed to include only dummy
