An alleged drunk driver has ploughed into a ute before his vehicle caught alight while a tow truck driver was inside the vehicle.
The 24-year-old driver allegedly blew a blood-alcohol reading of 0.211, more than four times the legal limit, after the accident on Monday morning.
He was also charged with assaulting a police officer during an alleged incident after the accident.
