A predator who broke into a family's home in the dead of the night before creeping into an eight-year-old girl's bedroom, touching her and whispering in her ear has pleaded guilty to a raft of charges.    

CCTV footage of the shocking intrusion shows Jamie Phillip Mongoo enter the property in Geraldton, Western Australia, between 12am and 2am on June 2 this year. 

Mongoo, a 33-year-old father, then snuck into the child's bedroom and climbed up a ladder and into her loft bed before touching her arm and back.   

'Stop it, you're scaring me. Go away,' the girl told him.  

Mongoo complied, but then stood motionless in her room before climbing into the bed a second time - and whispered something she couldn't understand.

The girl told him 'I don't like it, go away',
