Former Trump strategist and podcaster Steve Bannon tore into Mike Pence as a 'mindless, gutless simp' after the former vice president defended the FBI amid calls to 'defund' it for the raid on Mar-a-Lago.
'Mike Pence said, 'We gotta stop criticizing, we're a law and order party,' Bannon said on his War Room podcast. 'This is what this mindless, gutless simp said.'
Pence on Wednesday in New Hampshire urged fellow Republicans to stop their attacks on the FBI after it conducted a search on Trump's Florida property.
'Our party stands with the men and women who stand on the thin blue line at the federal and state and local level, and these attacks on the FBI must stop. Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong as calls to defund the police,' Pence said.
