A petition launched for an annual 'Queen Elizabeth Day' bank holiday in honour of the late monarch on the anniversary of her death has reached more than 100,000 signatures.
The campaign was started by John Harris on Change.org and proposes that September 8, the day she died, is made into a Queen Elizabeth II Day to honour her each year.
