A music teacher who bombarded Victoria's Secret model Bridget Malcolm with inappropriate emails has had his teaching licence revoked in a second Australian state.

Aurelio 'Bobby' Gallo taught at the prestigious all-girls Methodist Ladies' College in Perth when he bombarded Ms Malcolm with a series of inappropriate text messages and emails.

In August, Western Australia's State Administrative Tribunal suspended the 53-year-old's teaching licence for 3.5 years for 'serious misconduct' - with Ms Malcolm revealing she was the student at the centre of the incidents this week.

In the wake of news headlines about the case, Mr Gallo was on Saturday stood down as head of performing arts at John Paul College in Logan, Queensland, where he now works.

The Queensland College of Teachers showed that Mr Gallo's teaching licence was suspended on Monday. The reason for his axing wasn't listed when viewed by Daily Mail Australia.

However, grounds for suspension by the teachers' body include posing an unacceptable risk of harm to children or being charged with a serious offence.

John Paul College Principal Karen Spiller told the West Australian newspaper she was unaware of any further allegations against Mr Gallo but is under investigation by the school.

'Upon learning of this decision, John Paul College took immediate steps to stand Mr Gallo down while we investigate this matter further,' Ms Spiller said.

'Parents and staff were advised of both the .... decision and that Mr Gallo was stood aside late on Saturday night.' Ms Spiller praised Ms Malcolm for courageously coming forward.

Ms Malcolm was a student at Methodist Ladies' College when her music teacher, Mr Gallo began to 'foster a friendship' with her in 2007.

The top model received emails, texts and phone calls from the Mr Gallo while she was a student and shortly after she graduated.

They included asking the then-teenager to send him photos, meet him for dinner and accept his Skype request, according to tribunal documents.

The emails showed Gallo asking for topless photographs from Ms Malcolm after she left school and signing off his messages with 'luv always'.

The 30-year-old model shared an emotional video on social media on Saturday, after it became 'public knowledge' that Mr Gallo's teaching licence had been suspended in Western Australia.

In a clip shared on Instagram and TikTok on Sunday, Ms Malcolm told her followers she was 'still in shock' and was 'processing it' after hearing of the decision by West Australian authorities.

'I don't really know how to say this but I'm just going to come out and say it,' Ms Malcolm said.

'Today it became public knowledge that my high school music teacher lost his teacher's licence in Western Australia for three years.

'He lost it for serious misconduct against a student whilst he was teaching them, and I am that student.

'I've gone back and forth on whether or not to waive my right to anonymity because I was a minor when it all happened.

'But you know I'm not a minor anymore. I'm still in shock, I'm still processing and I've definitely had a lot of feelings today. I'm all over the place.

'I just want to say to my fellow survivors out there: you're not alone, you're stronger than you can possible imagine, and the future is waiting for you.'
