A mum of two young children was tragically struck and killed by a bus last month, but her death has set in motion a park upgrade, ensuring her memory lives on.
Leigh Black, 46, was walking across a pedestrian crossing on August 19 when she was hit by a bus at Bateau Bay Square shopping centre on the Central Coast. She died at the scene.
The 46-year-old was remembered by her friend Vanessa Kooger as 'beautiful, kind, full of life, and taken far too soon'.
To keep her memory alive Leigh's family and friends set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for a local park and playground upgrade.
