A New York man went on a spree of sexual crimes after receiving a sweetheart plea deal in a rape case involving his teenage relative as Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg refused to throw him behind bars.
Justin Washington, 25, was given a light 30-day sentence and five years of probation after he pleaded guilty in August to a charge of coercion in his Manhattan rape case, though the charge carries a maximum penalty of 16 months to four years.
A teenage relative of Washington told police he raped her as the two watched television together.
A week before Washington was set to be sentenced for that, he engaged in a horrifying spree of sexual assaults with his last days of freedom that affected four women and one man.

The rampage began at 8.20am when Washington snuck into an 18-year-old man's apartment window, put his hands in the man's underwear and gripped his buttocks
He was originally hit in February with charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and forcible touching and thrown in jail with a $25,000 cash bond, but those charges were later downgraded to third-degree rape.
Prosecutors did not believe they had enough evidence, and Washington was freed from jail on a $12,000 bond according to the New York Post.
The rampage began at 8.20am when Washington snuck into an 18-year-old man's apartment window, put his hands in the man's underwear and gripped his buttocks while asking 'Can I get a dollar, bro?'
When the victim offered a dollar, Washington refused the bill before saying 'Never mind, you're not understanding' before fleeing through the window.
Under an hour later, Washington reportedly made his way up the fire escape of an apartment building and began knocking on the window of a 26-year-old woman's apartment, who was home with her nine-month-old child at the time.
