The neighbor of a young woman found dismembered in her apartment said he would often hear her fighting with her boyfriend and on one occasion saw a blood trail coming from her door.
The unnamed woman's body was found inside two separate suitcases in her blood-stained Apartment 6F at Linwood Park Apartments, an affordable housing building in East New York, Brooklyn.
The 21-year-old victim, who is yet to be identified, had an order of protection filed against her estranged boyfriend before she was found dead, according to NY Daily News.
The neighbor, who did not give his name, said that about a week ago he had heard commotion coming from her apartment and a blood trail from her door.
'I just came home from work, I get upstairs, I see an entire blood trail, just lots and lots of blood, just trailing from her apartment to the front door,' he said.
