Police are hunting three boys aged between 10 and 14 after a clump of dirt thrown from scaffolding hit a three-month-old baby boy. 

The three boys are believed to have climbed scaffolding onto a roof and then collected lumps of moss and other debris they found which they hurled at passers-by below.
