Georgina Rodriguez has told a Netflix documentary that the loss of her baby son in April was the 'worst moment of my life'.

The model had been expecting baby twins with her footballer partner Cristiano Ronaldo in April when they tragically announced their boy had died.

It sparked an outpouring of grief, and the 28-year-old says she was left wondering 'how I could carry on' and only the love and support of her family got her through it.

The emotional admissions will be made in the new season of her Netflix series 'I Am Georgina', which follows the influencer in her day-to-day life.

The devastating loss of the couple's son is set to form a key part of the second season Netflix Spain's Director of Entertainment Alvaro Diaz, revealed.

In a preview of the new season which was shown to journalists at a Spanish TV and radio film festival, Ms Rodriguez said that day, which also saw her twin daughter born healthy, was a conflicting moment.

'Life has gifted me so much in such a short space of time,' she said.

'This year I've experienced the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant.

'A big piece of my heart shattered and I asked myself how I could carry on.

'I had the answer nearer than I thought. I looked into the eyes of my children and there I saw the only way of doing it, being all together.'

The Argentinian-born Spaniard has said little about the death of one of her twins during childbirth since she and Cristiano announced their loss on April 18

In a heart-wrenching statement the couple said: 'It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.

'Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.

'We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.

'We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time.

'Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.'
