A Tennessee celebrity cheer coach was suspended after two male teenage athletes accused him of sexual and emotional abuse in a lawsuit filed against cheerleading brands, including Premier Athletics.
Dominick 'Nick' Frizzell, a cheer coach for Premier Athletics and former athlete at the University of Tennessee, allegedly 'emotionally, physically, and sexually' exploited and abused 'young athletes,' according to a lawsuit filed by the victim's mother, referred to as Mary Doe.
Frizzell, dubbed a 'Varsity cheerlebrity' in the lawsuit, allegedly made one of the 15-year-old boys, referred to as John Doe 1, smoke marijuana and engage in oral sex with him in April and May.
'What is alleged to have occurred is tragic and we are heartbroken for any victims of abuse,' USA Cheer executive director Lauri Harris told DailyMail.com. 'Sexual abuse and misconduct in all forms is reprehensible and has no place in sport or society.
'USA Cheer will continue to work with the entire cheer community and all relevant agencies to rid it of bad actors and hold those responsible to account.'
The lawsuit alleges Frizzell was permitted to commit the heinous acts under the supervision of Premier Athletics manager Susan Traylor, who is also listed on the lawsuit as a defendant.

Frizzell's schemes with the underage boys allegedly began no later than in January 2022 when the cheer coach began 'sending sexually explicit messages and photographs of himself to John Doe 1, including photographs of himself in his underwear.'
The cheer coach also insisted John Doe 1 send him photos back.
'He made it feel like it was a normal thing and it was OK,' John Doe 1 told The Daily Beast. 'It wasn't fair. I feel like it was happening to multiple people.'
