A British bride has told how she and her hen party had jewellery and luxury designer goods worth nearly £70,000 stolen during their break in Marbella.

The group of a dozen women and a man were left devastated when their rented Airbnb villa was ransacked last Saturday night while they were out having a meal.

The thieves snatched six rings valued at more than £27,000 on the first night of the hen weekend, along with sets of diamond and gold earrings, two Rolex watches worth £15,850, four car keys, three house keys, and ten passports.

The haul also included eight designer Armani, Louis Vuitton, Jacquemus and Balenciaga handbags, Alexander Wang and Hermes slippers, Prada and Gucci wallets, designer sunglasses, Christina Louboutin heels and three Dyson Airwrap hair stylers.

But the thieves nearly gave themselves away by also stealing five sets of Airpods from the villa near Puerto Banús which cost £2,711 for three nights on Airbnb.

One of the women found a signal from her stolen wireless earpieces on Sunday afternoon which showed that they were in a housing complex in Calahonda near Marbella.

The 27-year-old bride from north London who only gave her name as Sandra and nine of her friends jumped into their two hire cars to drive to the address while the others were giving statements to police.

During the journey, they called police to give them the map co-ordinates of the Apple earpieces and the potential location of the thieves.

When the bride was outside the complex, she spotted a blonde woman getting into a car with a man and another woman.

The bride who is of Turkish descent and works as a pharmacy assistant believed the blonde woman had turned up at her Airbnb villa on Saturday, pretending to be a cleaner.

She told Spanish police of her suspicions when officers arrived in five cars, and the woman was taken into custody along with the man and the other woman.

The bride said that police promised her they would try to get a search warrant to look for the stolen property inside the housing development.

She and her friends ended up waiting outside the complex for more than six hours, but no warrant was granted.

They claim the two women and the man returned on Sunday evening after being freed by police.

Sandra said that she and her friends ended up fleeing in their hire cars as the trio who they believed were suspects chased them away and allegedly threatened them.

The haul also included eight designer Armani, Louis Vuitton, Jacquemus and Balenciaga handbags, Alexander Wang and Hermes slippers, Prada and Gucci wallets, designer sunglasses, Christina Louboutin heels and three Dyson Airwrap hair stylers. Pictured: Inside the villa after the goods were stolen

But the manager of the Airbnb villa said that the hen party revellers had wrongly assumed the guilt of the three people who were spoken to by police.

He told MailOnline that the woman who had turned up at his Airbnb was his official cleaner who had wanted to collect some of her tools from the garden.

The manager called Benjamin claimed that she was a different person to the woman who was seen and photographed by the bride outside the housing complex in Calahonda.

He said that the bride's insistence that the two women were the same person was therefore 'totally wrong'.

Benjamin said: 'We know our cleaner from many time, and we have never (had a) problem before.'

Describing it as 'this very strange story', he said that the two women were both blonde like 'one million other women in Marbella', but were '99% different'.

Sandra said she had got married in a civil ceremony on September 17, and planned her hen weekend before her traditional Turkish ceremony in London on November 26.
